Hey!

Image
Hiya!   Yeah, I missed last week's email, sorry. It has been some good weeks though. Some cool things are happening.   So the secret is out, we are pushing for the Evesham branch to become a ward this year. I can definitely feel the momentum and miracles coming in because of that. I feel so blessed to be in this position as a DL, with a great area, a car, very loving members, and an incredible companion.   To add more power we will permanently have senior missionaries in the branch as well. We figured this out after the fact as well. A few days after Elder and Sister Malan came in they had us over for dinner and explained the situation to us. Turns out we almost got pulled out of the area but our branch president pushed for us to stay. I will be sad to leave this place when the time comes.    Elder Black took his theory test this week and unfortunately didn't pass. It was so weird because I wasn't allowed to be with him so I was by myself for a good hour or so. ...

Good Week

Hiya!   So this past week was alright.    We were able to see all of our friends, and then the rest of the time we pretty much tracted. Not too much success there unfortunately.   Today for our P-day we went to Gadfield Elm and had a tour. Gadfield Elm, for those who aren't aware, is basically the oldest chapel of our church. It was peaceful and a good opportunity to reflect. Afterwards we went to a pub and got some good food. I got a classic: Gammon on Chips with a fried egg topped with a grilled ring of pineapple and a side of peas. Very British.   So yeah for transfer news, I will be staying in Evesham with Elder Black as my comp still and as the district leader. I am looking forward to it. I am in a really good situation and I feel very happy.   But yeah, hope you all are doing great. For all those that read my email, I would love to hear from you. I promise to respond next Monday.   -Onwards and Upwards.  Elder Berry

Happy New Year!

Hiya!   This week was less hectic than the previous, but we saw some cool tender mercies from God.   We went tracting and there was a cat that followed us everywhere, so when we knocked on a door, this cat was with us and sat right in front as the door opened up. That was funny.   We have found one village about a half hour away that seems to be where all of our finding success is occuring. We found a guy there who has read the entire Book of Mormon and wants to chat more so HE set up a lesson with us which is so rare.   Another cool thing is that we like to have a home cooked dinner together and then have our missionary meeting afterwards. I enjoy it a lot. It just feels so nice to have a bunch of us come together and enjoy some food and take a quick moment to be more human haha.   I am doing great guys. Only 6 more months!............   -Onwards and Upwards  Elder Berry   I have no pics :(( only videos.
