Good Week

Hey everyone!     We did a good deal of service on Wednesday. Our bishop called us up and had us come down because he was redoing his shed and needed help putting the plywood on the ceiling. Then, we went to our friend Antonio and helped him paint a shelf for his garden and teach him some before heading to church to help pack food for the homeless.      At our youth activity we planned an Office- style film about the Adiyeme family and some funny LDS stereotypes and jokes.      We found a few more people this week including a university student in Egypt! So that is pretty cool.     **BIG NEWS** The Big news is that we are getting a new mission in the UK: The Bristol England Mission. My Mission I am currently in is having a huge Boundary change that puts us much further North up near Birmingham and Eastwards encompassing areas like Nottingham, Cambridge, Ipswich and Leicster. So it's almost like a New mission is being put on top of us and...

Good Week

Hey everyone. Yes, I know I sent my email last week from my work email haha.      This week was pretty good! We were blessed to put two of our friends on baptismal date for April 16th, Babatunde and Docie.     We had a brilliant idea to travel through a nature reserve and see if we could talk to someone there. He was thinking about God recently and I hope our little chat helps him to know that yes, God knows and loves him. And we were able to do our part to be a piece in the puzzle.     On exchanges in Caerphilly, I had the opportunity to tract a bit and on the very last house we were able to meet a man and teach the restoration.      And since som...

What's Poppin'

Hiya everyone.     Last P-day we celebrated one of the Elders' birthdays in our districts. We went bowling and I absolutley sucked. I don't know how, but I did so badly. I was in the gutter 2/3 of the time. I promise I have never done so bad. Also the pins were ON STRINGS. Yes, you heard that right. So instead of sweeping off the old pins and dropping down a fresh new set, some strings just wound up and placed the same pins down over and over again. That may have affected how things went.     One of our friends we met this week is a teacher and she wants us to teach her class about Christianity. That would be fun for the future!     We also had an initiative to send some humanitarian aid to the Ukrainian refugees. The thought was that we would get maybe a few donations and we would donate them to a charity. But in about 5 mins that all changed. During the donation window several cars from the community, entire charities, and some very gracious members manag...
