Baptism!

Hiya everyone.     I see it has become colder in the US. Still waiting for the pattern switch over here in England, but I am enjoying the Sunshine and clear skies until then.     This week we went to a town called "Christchurch'' multiple times. The town has got this really cool history to it. The center of the town has a mound with the ruins of a castle and surrounding it is a trench where a moat used to be. The river nearby and the town buildings are all way old and it feels medieval to be there.      We also checked out the Christchurch Priory, which I believe is like a Catholic Temple. It was super ancient and had an insane amount of detail to it. So much so that the graves of lots of famous religious leaders were inside the floor and the large stone above had their name. It was creepy, but also magical. We are talking from like the 1400's kind of old. Insane.     The highlight of the week was John Lawrence's baptism!! He was so prepared....

Good afternoon everyone! (Even though it is 8am in America right now)   Anyway, this was a much slower week.    Good ol' P-Day we went to the the Party City of Bournemouth England once again. We went to the square and got some Nando's- that South African Chicken place. It was very good this time. We ate so many chips (fries) and had tons of their world famous peri-peri sauce. Finished off with a good cup of bottomless froyo (infinite refills).   Tu-Fri were something. They were kind of hard because we were having a hard time getting things to happen. I got quite down. But a cool thing was that we did get in contact with people we needed to, and I got a text back from a passalong card. Those are actually so rare. But that was cool.   Saturday and Sunday we had Stake Conference (a meeting with groups of our churches in our area every so often) Our Mission President came down and spoke at that. He has such a strong belief in Christ. That is all he talks about, I lo...

Hello Everyone!   Monday I went to the beach and threw some frisbee and waded in the water. I also got a nice haircut from a nice turkish barber. They knew what they were doing haha. I also had the opportunity to get that British Suit I have been excited about! I went to a good place called House of Fraser and got one of their suits for a good price. I really like it.   We had our Zone Conference all the way in Exeter on Tuesday. The funny thing was we got notice about that 3 hours before our train to Southampton->Salisbury. We played some UNO flip which is possibly the longest card game haha. We were squeezed on time, but we got to our flat and changed into our stuff and ran out to the bus stop. The problem was the bus was 23 minutes late!! Oh gosh, we thought time was tight but now it was game time. We SPRINTED through town center in our suits to catch the train *just* in time.   Zone Conference was solid. Tons of foundation work they call it. Basically making sure w...

Good day everyone.     Highlights of the week:     Monday we went on a hike with some friends to the Isles of Purbeck. It was once again breathtaking. It is such a change from Oklahoma, wow. But, it was nice to just aimlessly walk along the cliffs and gaze into the ocean. And the weather was gorgeous. We also saw some cliff jumpers which is dope. Very scary indeed. We also found some fossils just on rocks. Not even sure what they are, but one can only guess. They do call the area the Jurassic Coast for a reason.     Thursday we were going to the chapel to play the piano for our "projects". Well, we managed to stumble into an entire flipping wedding. So we met a caterer, people setting up a reception, the Bride and Groom, and the other Elders from Bournemouth. We did what missionaries do best and served. We helped out in the kitchen, and all sorts of other little bits. Mostly arranging and preparing food. We also met tons of people from my brother's area, Du...
