Good Week
Hey everyone. Yes, I know I sent my email last week from my work email haha.
This week was pretty good! We were blessed to put two of our friends on baptismal date for April 16th, Babatunde and Docie.
We had a brilliant idea to travel through a nature reserve and see if we could talk to someone there. After an hour of walking around through mud in the forest atop a hill we met a guy sitting on a bench. He immediately recognized us saying "No way.... Did Joseph Smith send you guys?" We replied "No, but how have you been?" Turns out the guy was once a member and is at a low point in his life. He was thinking about God recently and I hope our little chat helps him to know that yes, God knows and loves him. And we were able to do our part to be a piece in the puzzle.
On exchanges in Caerphilly, I had the opportunity to tract a bit and on the very last house we were able to meet a man and teach the restoration.
And since some sisters in our district have Covid and are quarantined, we had them teach us how to cook Ratatouille for dinner. Basically it is a French dish of sauteed veg and some chicken. Simple.
Transfer news is today and me and elder Maxfield are staying in Newport for the next 6 weeks.
