Toad In A Hole!

Good day everyone!

This week was definitely less hectic than the previous but we still were pretty busy.

We were able to have a dinner appointment with the Merry Family. This means we taught them a little and ate dinner with them. They cooked something proper British called "Toad in a Hole". Basically it is like a fluffy pancake with whole sausages on top. Then they made the CLASSIC British Gravy and we poured it over top. It was very tasty.

At that same appointment we had the opportunity to teach a recent member of the church over zoom. She shared how happy she was at baptism and about the Joy she felt as she learned about the Plan of Happiness and how she could live with her Family, who had passed away after this life forever. That is the Joy of this Gospel

We did some good cleaning in our Flat this week and built another Wardrobe! We also hung up pictures of Jesus Christ Everywhere. It is feeling more like home, my little "box" of Comfort. Still don't like the spiders, but we have gotten most of them now.

Friday we went over to Bournemouth again and went to a church social event. They made some good food to share and we played some good Football. Another British food I had was called Cheesy Potato Wedges with Meat. Basically a casserole dish full of potato wedges covered in meat, beans, veggies, and cheese. Almost like our Chili at home. Amazing. Their Mac and Cheese is also really good because they bake it. Can't say enough about the food over here.

The following Day we traveled to Yoeville to do exchanges with the Zone Leaders (Being companions with them for a day). We did the most missionary thing possible and went street contacting. It was quite dead I guess because it was Friday the 13th. We handed out a bunch of cards though and met two young Lads from Italy who were interested and we gave them each Book of Mormons. Let's hope we can continue to teach them about Christ! We also made a large helping of Curry. That is what I eat here all the time. It is rice in one pot and then chicken, veggies, spices, and curry sauce in another skillet. Put them together and you got the missionary meal that hits the spot every time man.

Then we went to the beach for some amazing Volleyball the next day and I got burned haha. It was so busy and like vacation though. I just got exhausted. And of course we had issues with travel again:

*Missed our Train

*Caught another Train to Bournemouth to get our Flat Keys because we forgot to lock up when we left

*Couldn't get off so Trained back to Poole

*Bussed to Bournemouth

*Bussed back to Poole.

That was fun

As far as wok is going I am having a good time. I met a man in South Africa over Facebook and he is meeting with the missionaries now. What?! We also are helping many people who are recent converts to church. We have one man who may get baptized soon. It is constant work finding and talking to people, but the message of hope and the answers we truly have cause many people to be interested. Some aren't keen and that is ok though.

Doing well though, message me and I will message back!

Moroni 8: 11-12

"11 And their little children need no repentance, neither baptism. Behold, baptism is unto repentance to the fulfilling the commandments unto the remission of sins.

12 But little children are alive in Christ, even from the foundation of the world; if not so, God is a partial God and also a changeable God, and a respecter to persons; for how many little children have died without baptism!"

These scriptures brought comfort to our friend who's child had passed away. Her child is not in Hell. They are alive in Christ and in Heaven because they are innocent. What joy that brings for us!
