Corfe Castle And A Full English

Hiya everyone!

This week started off with a pleasant trip to a castle not too far from us over a Village named Corfe. The castle was built round 11AD and was fully functioning until WW1 in which it was destroyed. The ruins remain towering on the hill over the village below. It was quite a lovely time and I got some brilliant pictures especially since a little bout of rain had just passed by. (Ok, I might stop my British tour now)

This week was slower as well but we did our best. Something cool is we got a media refferal from Facebook. A man saw one of our ads, particularly the words "Christ" and "Humilty". He thought that it was a webinar, but he had actually signed up to see us haha. We stopped by his house and because we were "Washed clean by the blood of the lamb" he invited us in to share our message. We introduced and testified of the Book of Mormon and we hope to meet him again.

Another miracle is today in fact. I was messaging a man over Facebook and the most we can do sometimes is invite people to read the Book of Mormon and pray to ask God if it is true. So I did a few days ago and apparently he has spent a few hours reading it. He asked God for a sign to continue reading and apparently he saw me in the distance 5 minutes afterwards! This is his 4th time seeing me he claims. What a crazy thing! So yeah, that is a great man that we hope to meet soon. Pretty cool.

Recently we have had the opportunity to have THE traditional FULL English Breakfast: Sausage, Baked Beans, Toast, an Egg, Hashbrowns, Bacon, a roasted Tomato, and a Mushroom. It is quite good! Not to pricey either.

We are still trying our best to have the ward help us out. It has been the biggest struggle thus far feeling unsuported by the ward, but it has gotten better. We have a few dinners this week so that is nice.

Also, there is a brilliant chap who does custom leatherwork over here. I designed a scripture case and he was able to engrave, paint, stitch, and patch it up. I am thrilled with it!

They celebrated Guy Fawkes Day on Friday as well. (Basic rundown is this: A guy in the 1500's named Guy Fawkes almost blew up parliament. They caught him though on November 5th and burned him at the stake." So on the 5th of November people built fires and burned their stuffed "guy fawkes'" and shot of Fireworks. It is a strange holiday.

Also a fox was just chillin on the lawn about 2 metres away from me. Didn't have a care in the world.

But yeah, transfers is next week so we shall see what happens!

Simple scripture, but it is true. Redemption from all sorrow and Sin is through Christ.
