I Am Moving!

Hey everyone!

So, I am moving to a new area... Chelmsy Wood!! It is just on the edge of big boy town Brirmingham (Hey, that is the name of my mission!....) So that will be a big change for a few reasons:

1. My new companion will be brand new to the area (which means that we will have to figure everything out all over again haha. But that is a great opportunity as well to set the tone and have a fresh start).

2. I am no longer in Wales, but back in England.

3. Assuming I stay in the area for more than a transfer (Generally a 6 week period our mission is broken into) I would become part of the reformed Birmingham Mission boundaries and be under the direction of a new mission president. Basically the equivalent of a new mission.

4. I will be in a 4 man flat, sharing it with the Elders serving in Solihull. I have looked forward to that for a while, as I miss living with my large family as odd as that sounds and this will be more fun.

This week we saw some members that needed seeing in the far reaches of our area. We also taught a few lessons.

One was with a lady from the Czech Republic (Did you know that Czecholslovakia is no longer a country, but it is now the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Oh, you did? Sorry, but you can put the rock back over my hiding hole.)

We got to church on Sunday and went to youth and no one had prepared a lesson. So I gave a lesson on the fly over the commandments and it wasn't horrible I would say.

For my day off today we took a peaceful walk through the country. We saw a horse as well. I fed it some grass and when I got a picture with it after I turned around it was smiling at me looking like he wanted to munch the top of my head like it was grass. So I got pretty scared there and screamed like a girl. I also decided to carry rocks all the way back just because I need that extra strength training. Anyway, I do some really weird things. Did I ever tell you how I hugged the tree? Oh gosh it is late, and I am getting to be my extra silly self.

Guys, I am looking forward to this change, and now I will have truly served in the city my mission is named for. The residents identify as "Brummies" and supposedly they have a thick distinct accent as well. Oh gosh, everyone over here just has their accents. The Cockney, The Manchester, The Scottish, The Welsh, The York. It is good fun.

Keep in touch :)

That is it.
