So I am going to have to stop driving in the UK this Thursday until I get my license. My UK license! So to get that I am taking the theory (written) test tomorrow and then I get to take the infamous driving test after that in a week or so.

 

 

Let me try and explain that this UK is so much harder than the ol' Ada Oklahoma test. You have to do one of the following: reverse into a parking spot, parallel park, park up on the right side of the road (into oncoming traffic) or reverse around a corner. As well you drive around on the road for 30 or so minutes. If you make a minor mistake you get a penalty (ie, steering without both hands on the wheel). You get 15 of these minor mistakes and then you fail. OR you make 3 of the same minor mistakes. OR you make a major mistake (ie, being in the wrong lane at a roundabout) and instantly fail. I think I can do it, I have been driving fine for a month now. But, extra prayers would be appreciated.

 

 

The week was busy, but good. Rubbish finding tbh, but the Lord gave us several people as referrals and so we are thankful for that. One even came to church!

 

 

A funny story is I woke up on Sunday and was looking everywhere for my glasses. Anyone that has glasses knows how annoying that is. I gave up and wore my spares.

Well

We come home and Elder Gowans opens up the fridge and inside of the pizza box from the other day he finds my cold frosted glasses. I think I need to get more sleep lol

 

 

But yeah, I sucked with pictures this week sorry.

Hiya! I ticked another item off my mission list. We met with a man this week (The one from Patagonia in the previous email), and we got talking and found out he is the head pastor at 3 Welsh-speaking churches in the area. That is his job. He let us into his Chapel, and we got to look around. It was quite something. On the top of the building (much like our temples), was inscribed the word "Zion". But yeah, it was cool to teach a Welsh Pastor. Don't really see much happening with him though. We also taught Wendy again this week, and this time she cried when she shared about the Plan of Salvation. She is so sweet and humble, and we look forward to continuing to teach her. I pray she joins the church; she would be so good. On Wednesday, we had what I call "Old Person Game Night" at the chapel.
