Prison

This is also from a week ago. I have found that the ole mobile can't handle sending images from Google photos. It spazzes out man. Anywho...

Our friend Thelma is making great progress! We met with her twice to teach the big 3 commandments and she understands. She even joined the women to watch General Conference yesterday! She has a big operation coming up literally right when she is ready to be baptized though, so it could be a minute before that...

We did more whiteboard tracking as well which worked out nicely with the Lord's help.

On Thursday we had Zone Conference and one of the training sessions touched me. It was about the power of the scriptures. All we did was read the Book of Mormon and what it had to say about itself, the Bible prophets and Jesus Christ. After 30 or so verses of scripture throughout the Book we all just felt so calm and full of joy: The Spirit. That set the tone for the remainder of the meeting and everyone was really reverent.

The next few days were all about inviting people to General Conference. So we reached out to over 100 people and sent about 40 videos of ourselves. It was exhausting, but one precious soul watched and was touched who had never watched before. She now wants to attend church and learn more.

My favorite message was when Elder Uchtdorf said that if the Saviour were to appear to you he would make sure you understood how much he loves you by his words and presence. He would tell you that you are a child of the Father and that your future is to inherit all he has. He would tell you he will be your strength and that together you can do this!!

For our P-day Elder Gasser and I went to Prison. Well, only for a little bit. It was an escape room!! Goodness me it was hard. We were locked in our cell for nearly 2 hours and we started in handcuffs. The staff helped us figure it out. Don't underestimate an escape room if you have never done one.
