Transfers!
Hiya!
Transfer news is I am STAYING in Evesham, and Elder Black is leaving to go to Newton Abbott. My new companion is Elder Hopkins! I am looking forward to everything going forward. There is so much good going on here, and I don't want to leave.
This week was busy.
We went over to the house of someone we met in the park, and they were actually interested! We talked about family history and saw some pictures from their lives. They have a song signed by Mick Jagger, and also some pictures of horses that were supervised and Queen Elizabeth sat on. Looking forward to continuing to teach them!
We also had a service project for our Ukrainian friend in Morton-in-Marsh, and that was great! We laid a ton of dead sod and then had to roll it back up because she wasn't happy with it. But the other areas around the back and inside the house went smoothly, so no hard feelings. She came to church, though!
It has been a very long day spent messaging people, and I have written a full-length essay basically texting an avid atheist back and forth, but we ended up making some progress. At least I was able to show that we are very sensible in our views. I got thrown everything, though.
So yeah, now I am off to have dinner with an amazing family for "pancake day." So we are having pancakes, but British style, so really they are crêpes.
Oof, I am lacking pics.
